Community Center<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Call to Order<\/strong> \u2013 6:30 p.m.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Attending:<\/strong>\u00a0 Mayor Jan Webster, Council Members \u2013Mike Barfield, Dusty Durst, Thomas Gary, Lamar Watkins, Mainstreet News \u2013 Charles Phelps, City Clerk-Debbie Fontaine, Jody Campbell not present but available if needed via phone.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Pledge of Allegiance &#8211; All<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Minutes:<\/strong> Dusty motioned to approve the February 2019 Council Meeting Minutes; Lamar seconded. All were in favor. <strong>Motion approved<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Financials:<\/strong> Thomas motioned to approve the March 2019 Financials; Dusty seconded. All were in favor. <strong>Motion approved.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>NEW BUSINESS<\/strong><strong>:\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Employee Insurance \u2013 <\/strong>Mike motioned to table until next month, Lamar and Thomas were in favor; Dusty was opposed to tabling the Health Insurance item.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>OLD BUSINESS<\/strong><strong>: \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Garrett Paving \u2013 Autumn Drive \u2013 <\/strong>Thomas motioned to approve the change order to current Garrett Paving Agreement that includes the paving of Autumn Drive, Lamar seconded, motion was approved as stated on Proposal:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>$109,425 \u2013 to Patch and 1\u20195\u201d Overlay,<\/p>\n<p>$129,165 \u2013 same as patch and overlay plus 1\u201d 12.5 OGI to help prevent cracking.<\/p>\n<p><strong>MAYORS REPORT: <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Jan told council members that the ad for the Dump Truck will be ran in the Jackson Herald on April 17<sup>th<\/sup> and 24<sup>th<\/sup> in order to have the bids looked at directly before the next council meeting<strong>.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Jan also mentioned that the city has its first renter for the Benton Event Center for a Beauty Pageant on April 13, 2019. She also told council that this event was only charged $600 due to not having established rental procedures and fees yet for the space.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>LIBRARIAN\u2019S REPORT:\u00a0 <\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>March we had a make your own sock puppet program. April we are doing two children\u2019s programs:<\/li>\n<li>Thursday April 4 (2-4): making a sun catcher, making slime and having a story time.<\/li>\n<li>Thursday April 18 (4-6 PM) &#8211; DIY Seed bombs, microscopic look into the Earth\u2019s wonders.<\/li>\n<li>Bandit: April 23rd 5-6 PM<\/li>\n<li>Feb Passports: 34 people getting ready for spring break<\/li>\n<li>Today we did two passports and have more scheduled.<\/li>\n<li>Passport Audit-We were audited in March.
