The City Clerk serves as a key administrative official responsible for supporting the operations of the City and providing professional administrative services to the Mayor and City Council.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, maintaining official municipal records; preparing and maintaining agendas, minutes, ordinances, resolutions, and other official documents; coordinating City Council meetings; responding to public records requests; assisting with municipal elections and compliance requirements; communicating with City officials, residents, governmental agencies, and the public; and performing other administrative duties as assigned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Minimum Qualifications:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in business administration, public administration, or a related field preferred.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Previous administrative or municipal government experience preferred.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong written and verbal communication skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office and standard office technology.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to maintain accurate records and handle confidential information with discretion.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Knowledge of Georgia municipal government and applicable laws and regulations is preferred.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Employment Type: Full-Time<br>Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>Application Deadline: Open until filled<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Qualified applicants should submit a completed application and current resume by email or in person at the City of Nicholson office:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">5488 Highway 441 S<br>P.O.
