Below is the link to today’s weather webinar from the NWS. We should be prepared to receive lots of rain and 30 to 40 mph winds late Friday into Saturday. We had another call with GEMA after the weather webinar. The GEMA State Operations Center (SOC) has been fully activated. At this time, there have been no mandatory evacuations issued to residents of the Georgia coast; however, we could see an increase in traffic from South Georgia and Florida residents who want to get out of the path of the storm. We dont currently have plans to open our EOC. I will pass along more updates after tomorrow’s webinar.
